Our Boys’ Hostel “The Guardian” was set up in the year 2008 on the auspicious occasion of “Sri Gundicha” with the financial assistance of Sri Dharmendra Pradhan, Honourable MP, Deogarh in the advice of Sri Bibhuti Bhusan Pradhan, one of the greatest well wishers of this institution. Later Sri Rudranarayan Pani, Hon’ble M.P. (Rajya Sabha) and Smt. Mamatanjali Behera Member of Zilla Parisad extended their financial assistance for its enhancement. Now its intake capacity is 100. This is meant for Boys only.

Our Girls’ Hostel was established in the year 2012. According to the declaration of our beloved Chief Minister Sri Naveen Patnaik, our honorable MLA Sri Prafulla Kumar Mallik has been pleased to recommend for sanction of a 100 seated ST Girls’ Hostel with the advice of BDO, Kamkhyanagar Sj Basanta Kumar Majhi. Now, its intake is 100 ST Girls and 10 SC Girls. There is a provision of remedial classes, Tailoring (SUPW), Healthy atmosphere, safe drinking water, 24hr electricity, games & sports, etc.

Health Education is one of the most important features of our school. Almost every year our students represent Block, District, State and National level competitions in Cricket, Kabaddi, Volley ball, Ball Badminton, Kho-Kho, Swimming and many other athletic events. A mini stadium has been developed under PYKKA scheme to encourage the students for further improvement in their fields of interest.
NCC NCC

NCC has been allotted to the institution in year 2012-13 consisting of 50 seats both for boys and girls. This year the 10 Day Combined Annual Training Camp of 12 (O) BN NCC, Dhenkanal was organized on the school campus from 15.11.2012 to 24.11.2012 under the guidance of Col.R.S.Nain.

Both the wings of Scouts & Guides are in full force under the Scout Master Banarji Mohanty & Guide Captain Anita Acharya. Already 16 Scout & 24 Guides have obtained their Rajya Puraskar certificates. Children are encouraged to render social service, cooperation, self help with high moral ethics.

Under the dynamic guidance of our JRC counselor Suresh Kumar Biswal our JRC council organizes Blood Donation Camp, Health Checkup Camp, Awareness Campaign and Cleanliness Awareness with motto of Help, Service & Friendship.


eco Eco Club

Eco Club of this institution has been awarded with Prakruti Mitra by the Govt. of Odisha Department of Forest & Environment. Plantation, Awareness Campaign, beautification of campus, etc. are made at regular intervals. It is headed by Dr. Chandramani Lenka, Asst. Tr. Sc (CBZ).
