Admissions into Class-VIII are open to pupils having passed M.E. common examination. However, admission into Boys Hostel (The Guardian) is made on merit basis due to limited availability of seats. Entrance examination for the same is conducted in the last week of March. One can apply for entrance exam by downloading the entrance form or can buy the same from the office. Forms are available in the office from 1st week of March at the cost Rs. 100/-. Entrance test is based on the syllabus of previous class along with general knowledge and reasoning test questions. Besides 90 objective questions 1 descriptive question on Odia Essay is to be written which carries 10 marks. One can also apply for admission into Class-IX in the same procedure subject to availability of seats in the hostel.
